With baking as my passion, I began at 10 years old by making angel food birthday cakes and lemon love notes for my family and friends.
From there, it went to working at The River Cafe in Brooklyn, to master the art of French baking. Tarte tatins, chocolate piped bridges, truffles and chocolate mousse. I was always the mom volunteering to head the school and charity bake sales, teach my children’s classmates how to make seasonal treats and adorn our family Christmas tree with special themed cookies. Our house has always smelled like sugar and draws in all of our friends and family to my kitchen. After numerous requests, I taught baking classes and made a wedding cake and mastered many custom projects.
